POWERGAS WINS DEWA CONTRACT TO UPGRADE ONLINE GAS ANALYZING SYSTEM

Powergas bagged an order from DEWA to replace existing gas analyzer (online gas analyzing solution) units by new Honeywell Gas Lab Q2. This contract includes the removal old installation, supporting instrumentation structures and wiring, supply & installation of new Gas Lab Q2 units for their GE Gas turbines, refabricate the supporting instrumentation & cabling, testing, integrate to main DCS systems and commissioning.

This gas analyzing unit Determine the main gas parameters like calorific value/Wobbe index/density/ CO2 concentration/methane number, etc., that required to calculate energy efficiency of supplier gas. This unit required no air or carrier gas and perform fast continuous measurement with low investment and maintenance costs.

Our mechanical & electrical instrumentation team handled the installation of Gas Lab Q2, fabrication of instrumentation structure and its wiring part. Honeywell trained engineer integrate the analyzer signals to flow computer and DCS systems.
